Radiogandy resumes publication

.
Due to circumstances completely under my control I have decided to resume publication.

The ground swell of support was heart-warming. In conversation, e-mails, and telephone calls, you let me how widely the blog is read.

The main changes are to be found on the in the 'comments' box and read as follows :-

Please restrict your comment to 200 words. Real names will be preferred. Using the 'anonymous' button is OK provided you later identify yourself. Comments from people using pseudonyms will not be published.

Apart from that things will be mostly the same.

The picture on the left is of the British Sugar factory at Newark sent to me by Bob.

These 'misty morning' pictures are so attractive.

I suppose you really need Elvis singing 'I just can't help believing' in the background. That is a live link folks but on my PC the quality was abit jumpy.

Comments

I am keen to receive comments, under the new system. It will reassure me that the changes are acceptable. Jill of course has been on her cruise throughout the fracas and knows nothing of it. There can be little doubt that, wherever she was, she had better weather.

Quotation time ..... How true this is -

"The wisdom of the wise, and the experience of ages, may be preserved by quotation"

Benjamin Disraeli

.........................................

Can't really say 'sleep tight' because it is only just after 1pm. Catch you tomorrow.

Wells Fargo is rushing this post to you as I speak !

I never thought I'd say this - but I'm so pleased to see you back! I, personally, have been very touched by the amount of support - emails, telephone calls, personal contact - from your readers. I had no idea that so many people read your blog without ever putting a comment on.

I like the Wells Fargo smiley - I don't know how to do smileys (I'm NEW to this) but if Graham can't tell me my 11-year old grandaughter will!

Huzzah! How good to see the blog back and RG at the helm. It may only have been a matter of days but we've/I've missed you.

Nice pic of the British Sugar factory. I've been past it a few times recently and thought I ought to stop and get a snap some time. it looks good at dusk.

i hope Yvonne keeps commenting. As Jack Nicholson nearly said in The Witches of Eastwick "Women make such sensible comments."

Sports Desk: Is Rafa getting nervous? Panthers still in the running but only just. Notts County win!! Stags haven't played for a couple of weeks.

Arts (?) Desk: some excellent images in the EPS Beginner's Competition.

I think that some of the pictures in the beginners section could would have fitted quite well in advanced.
