If a stranger calls me Robert I always force myself to use his/her forename in reply. <br />One Wellow lady, of haughty mien, addresses everyone by forename while everyone, except me/Sandra, calls her Mrs Baugh (pronouncing it ‘Boff’ while she prefers ‘Baw’).
